Moving between emirates
An inter-emirate move is not just a longer version of a local one. The drive eats hours out of the working day, so the packing has to be quicker and better organised, the load has to be secured properly for a highway rather than a ten-minute run across town, and the crew has to arrive at the far end with enough of the day left to actually finish.
That's why we price these differently and start them earlier. What doesn't change is the scope: the same packing, the same dismantling, the same reassembly at the other end. You're not getting a stripped-back version of the service because you happen to be moving further.

Packing and moving questions
What people ask before booking a move to another emirate.
Do you move between emirates, or only within one?
Both. Moving from Dubai to Abu Dhabi, Sharjah to Dubai, or Dubai out to Ras Al Khaimah or Fujairah is a normal job for us. The distance is built into one fixed price rather than added as a surprise on the day, and most inter-emirate moves are still finished within a single day.
Does moving to another emirate cost much more?
It costs more than a move across the same city, but less than people expect. The truck and crew are the same; what changes is travel time, which affects how much of the day the job takes. A move from Dubai to Sharjah adds little. Dubai to Fujairah adds a real amount because of the drive. Tell us both addresses and you'll get one figure covering everything.
What time do you start for a long-distance move?
Earlier than a local move. If you're going from Dubai to Ras Al Khaimah or Fujairah we want to be packing early so the drive happens with the whole day still ahead of us, and unloading and reassembly still finish at a sensible hour. We'll tell you the arrival window when you book.
Can you pack one day and move the next?
Yes, and for larger homes going a long distance it's often the better way. We pack and dismantle on day one, load and drive on day two. It costs a little more than a single day but it removes the risk of a rushed evening at the far end, which is when things get damaged.
Do you handle building permits in other emirates?
Requirements differ by emirate and by building. Dubai towers are usually the strictest, with move permits, lift bookings and set hours. Other emirates are often more relaxed but not always. Tell us both building names and we'll tell you what each one needs and send our documents so you can apply.
Is packing available on its own, without the transport?
Yes. Some people want a crew to pack the kitchen, the glassware and the artwork and then handle the transport themselves, or they've already booked a truck. We can do packing only, and we'll bring all the materials. It's priced by the volume being packed rather than by the move.
What if I'm moving to a new emirate but my new place isn't ready?
Then it goes into storage in between. We collect from the old address, store it, and deliver to the new emirate when you have keys. It's priced as collection, storage period and delivery, so you can see each part.
Do you unpack at the other end or just deliver boxes?
We unpack. Boxes are emptied into the rooms on their labels, furniture is rebuilt, curtains are rehung and frames go back on the wall. A move that ends with a stack of sealed boxes in a hallway isn't finished, and that's true whether you moved across town or across the country.
