Office relocation in Dubai, done outside your working hours

Workstations, IT, filing and meeting rooms moved on an evening or a weekend, so your team walks into a working office on the next business day.

Send us the floor plan and workstation count and we'll come back with a plan, a crew size and a fixed price.

What makes an office relocation different

A house move has one deadline: get everything in before you sleep there. An office move has a harder one. On Monday morning people need to sit down, plug in and work, and every minute they can't is a cost that dwarfs the price of the move itself.

So office relocation is a scheduling problem more than a lifting problem. The lifting is the easy part. What matters is the order things come apart, the labelling that tells you where each item goes, and making sure the IT team can start reconnecting the moment the racks are in position rather than waiting for the last chair to come off the truck.

What we need from you before the day

  • A floor plan of the new space with desk positions numbered
  • The workstation count, and how many monitors and screens in total
  • Both building names, so we can tell you what permits and lift bookings each requires
  • A contact from your IT provider and when they can be on site
  • A list of anything not coming with you

With those five things we can give you a firm price and a written sequence for the move.

What we move in an office

Everything on this list is part of a standard office relocation quote.

  • Workstations and partitionsDesk systems and screens dismantled, moved and rebuilt to your new floor plan.
  • IT hardware and cablingMonitors, docks, peripherals and desk phones disconnected, labelled and reconnected.
  • Server racks and cabinetsMoved physically and placed. Configuration stays with your IT provider.
  • Filing and archivesBoxed in order, labelled by department, and stacked so retrieval stays possible.
  • Meeting and reception furnitureBoardroom tables, sofas and reception counters, wrapped and reassembled.
  • Crates, labels and waste removalReusable crates supplied, cardboard and wrap taken away afterwards.

How a weekend office move runs

The sequence for a typical Friday-to-Sunday relocation. Smaller offices compress this into one evening.

  1. Survey and plan

We walk both sites, agree the sequence with your IT team and confirm permits and lift bookings.

  2. Label and pre-pack

Workstations numbered, crates delivered, staff pack personal drawers on the last working day.

  3. Dismantle and load

Friday evening. Desks and screens come apart, IT is disconnected in the agreed order.

  4. Place and rebuild

Saturday. Racks in first so IT can start, then workstations built to the new plan.

  5. Snag and hand over

Sunday. We walk the floor with you, fix what's out of place and clear the packing waste.

Sized to your office

The crew, the number of trucks and the number of nights all scale with the workstation count. Here's roughly how it breaks down.

  • Up to 15 workstationsOne evening after hours. Team packs personal items, we do the rest.
  • 15 to 50 workstationsA weekend day, sometimes with packing started the evening before.
  • 50 or more workstationsPhased across a full weekend, with a snagging window on Sunday.
  • Single-department movesOne floor or one team relocating while the rest of the office keeps working.

Office relocation questions

What operations and facilities managers ask us before signing off a move.

How long does an office relocation take?

A small office of 10 to 15 workstations is normally one evening or one weekend day. Fifty or more workstations is usually a phased weekend: pack and label Friday, move and place Saturday, snag and adjust Sunday morning. The point of the phasing is that Monday looks normal to everyone who wasn't involved.

Can you move us outside working hours?

That's how most office relocations we do actually run. Evenings after six, or a Friday to Sunday window. It costs the same as a weekday move for us and saves you a day of lost productivity, so it's the default recommendation unless you have a reason to go midweek.

Who handles the IT equipment?

We disconnect, label, transport and reconnect monitors, docks, peripherals and desk phones, and we move server racks and network cabinets physically. What we don't do is configure your network or reconfigure servers. That stays with your IT provider, and the two teams need to be on site in the right order. We'll agree the sequence with them before the day.

How do people find their own desk at the new office?

Every workstation gets a number, and every box, monitor and chair from that workstation carries the same number. We work from your new floor plan with the same numbers on it, so a desk's contents land at the right position rather than in a pile by the door. Staff pack their own personal drawer into a labelled crate before they leave on the last day.

Do you supply crates instead of cardboard boxes?

For office moves, yes, where it makes sense. Reusable crates stack better, survive being carried on a trolley, and don't need to be broken down and disposed of afterwards. Archive and filing usually go in cardboard because they get stored rather than unpacked.

What about the building permits and lift bookings?

Commercial towers in Dubai are usually stricter than residential ones. Expect to book the service lift in advance, provide the mover's trade licence and insurance to building management at both ends, and work within permitted hours. Give us both building names and we'll tell you what each one asks for and supply our documents so you can submit the applications.

Can you dismantle and rebuild the workstations?

Yes. Desk systems, partition screens, pedestals and meeting tables come apart and go back together. If your new layout is different from the old one, send the floor plan and we'll build to that rather than reproducing the old arrangement.

What happens to furniture we're not taking?

Tell us before the day and we'll separate it during packing so it doesn't get loaded by mistake. We can move it to storage, move it to a second address, or leave it in place for the landlord. Decide early, because sorting it on moving night slows everything down.

Get an office relocation quote

Send the workstation count and both addresses. It opens WhatsApp so you can attach the floor plan straight away.

  • A written sequence, not just a price, before you commit.
  • Evening and weekend slots at no premium.
  • Workstation-level labelling so Monday morning is uneventful.

Lease ending soon?

Call and we'll talk through the timeline. Office moves need more lead time than home moves, so earlier is better.
